OMG!!!!! No way, I looooove that website!!

Don't know about the rest of you, but I'm going to feel totally lost without Databank. That website rocks!!!!

I had never heard of the databank before,but I found some other posts about it,and thought I would go check it out,but when I put in Databank.org I get a site for hospital stuff.

I have been to that site several times, but I didnt' know what it was about. It seem like a site that listed and reviewed the quality and content of bootleg material. right? But you couldn't download from the site. I am not sure what was the purpose of the site except for reference.

Yes it was a reference site - and a fabulous one at that!

Agreed, it was a great place to find out tracklists, the label the bootleg was released on, the date and location of the show (if it was from a concert), etc. etc. I'm really gonna miss it.

i'm so fucking gutted still about this .. as a hardcore collector i was always amazed at how much truly is out there that i didn't have. while it's still up and if the operator of the site visits here, i just want 2 personally say thank u 4 all ur hard efforts in maintaining that site.
