At this point everyone is excited about the ONA Live CD that's coming our way pretty soon (at least, that's what we expect). But let's take a leap into the future and wonder what his next studio release will be like.

Will it be in the vein of TRC, organic sounding stuff, or will that bore him already and will he do an album filled with raw electronic funk?

What do YOU think (or hope)???

I'm hoping for the stankiest funk!

eye want some stuff so funky that it breaks the cd player!

I'm hoping for a return to his r&b roots. Songs like 'It's about that walk', 'I wanna be your lover', 'Five women', 'The ride' etc.
I like his jazz groove, his funky tunes, but the r&b tunes hit me the hardest.

It's about that walk" is one of my favorite Prince tunes, misterchristan. I wouldn't mind more of stuff like that either!

But what I would really like is an electronic funk album, with fat electronic beats, fat synthesizers, lot's of funky rhythm guitar and Camille-style vocals. Let's say a return to the old Minneapolis Funk, but with modern production. Mmmm, that would be a dream come true!

Well if its anything like Rainbow Children then I will be very disappointed...

I think he should start an "all-star-band" with d'angelo, maxwell, roots, badu and jill scott. That album would be a logical progression from TRC.

Fucking hell, sometimes I wonder about orgers. TRC is musically one of Prince's strongest albums ever. This band is fucking brilliant. I can't understand how u can't appreciate that.

Oh wait, I can. I think a look at some of your CD collections would tell the story.
