I was listening to this song earlier, listening to the lyrics and such. This song is truly contagious and so addictive that I've developed a habit of playing it multiple times in a day.

But then it got me thinking, with this song as a title track, if I were to put a mix together of Prince songs that fall in2 one of two categories:

a) a strange relationship is "implied"
- i.e. "If was ur girlfriend"
b) a strange relationship is being discussed
- i.e. "Anotherloverholenyohead"

Anyone got any ideas for songs that could be added to this playlist:

"Tick, Tick Bang" if that was added, Delirious would have to be also because theyre' both similar in subject-matter... but neither really talk about a "relationship." Or sound like a relationsihp is being described, just the person and her effect on him.
"Undisputed" doesn't really go in2 a relationship at all... just a song where Prince talks about what he stands for and such.
"Muse 2 the Pharaoh" isn't a "strange" relationship... just a relationship.

"Man in a Uniform" COULD work I'll have to look through it.

" Wanna Melt with U" more/less gives me the actual venture, not so much the relationship itself. Just another metaphor for sex, nothing strange about that.

We all have our own idea of what "strange" might be. A case with a lot of these is that I don't see the relationship in there. It sounds more like a fling than anything concrete (but what really is concrete about someone who hates to see you happy but hates it more to see you sad?).
I don't really say tracks like LRC or RB as strange relationships. Yes, I said it. The fact he's in2 a girl "who has a pocket full of horses" doesn't say to me "strange."

And some come down to interpetation as well. "In this bed I scream" I heard was written for Lisa/Wendy/Susannah and that's a different kind of relationship. More like best friends than boyfriend/girlfriend relationshp
and "Curious Child" doesn't sound strange to me at all. It's a beautiful track. I suppose one would think it strange based on the title alone.
