The clip is widely circulating now, shouldn't have any trouble finding it.
It's hilarious, definately in the running for Prince's goofiest moment ever. The pulsing chug of the beat brings to mind 'Romance 1600' the most, and the vocals are way higher and softer than Camille. | |

According to BorisFishpaw, the reason that the vocals seem higher than the other Camille material is because the original vocal was already in falsetto, so when speeded up it became wayyyyy high! |

On the old flyer for the bootled cosmic day release, there was like 2 or 3 more still yet unreleased tracks..While everything eles on the list has been released on the 30 years of funk set... i expect they will be next  who knows | |

That Cosmic Day bootleg was BS. The person who put that together didn't
have half the tracks that were listed on it! ...So I'm not holding my breath. | |

I was severely let down when I heard it. I thought it had such a cool title (although very similar by the title by Funkadelic "Cosmic Slop"). SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

From a book called "The Vault";
This song was recorded on November 15th 1986 when Prince had completed the Camille album but not yet embarked on assembling the Crystal Ball three-LP. It is a rousing, energetic guitar-based rocker cut from the same cloth as "I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man". The title phrase is followed by a guitar line which takes the place of a sung chorus (much like many other Prince songs). His guitar tome is piercing and razor sharp. Interestingly, the melody resembles the main riff of George Harrison's 1970 hit "What Is Life?" (from All Thing Must Pass, 1970), which may or may not be the reason why Prince chose to withhold the song when he compiled Crystal Ball. The song concerns a "cosmic dream". Prince's vocals are speeded-up and higher than his Camille voice, which unfortunately reduces the impact of the song somehwat. Still, the song ranks as one of the most inspired all-out rockers that Prince has chosen not to release. |

Well I've now heard it and at first I was really put off by the vocal but after a few listens I think it's great. Reminds me of The 1 u wanna C a bit.
It would be great to have the song. Now I wanna hear the other snippets that are out there. Everybody Want what they don't and traffic Jam are also out there somewhere. | |
