Saw TTD at the London Forum last night. The clubsize, theatre venue soon filled up come showtime and the show lasted around an hour and a half. To be fair the band were adequate IMO, they held down the tune in the background and gave TTD a chance to shine playing guitar, keys and of course running through his distinctive dance repertoire. Admittedly the Italian four-piece didn't command attention individually aside from the guitarists few solos which he handled fine. No real backing vocals. To the best of my recollection this was the setlist... Main show (Not in correct order): -Wishing Well -Dance Little Sister -Sign Your Name -I'll Never Turn My Back On You -Delicate -Let Her Down Easy (Alone on piano) -Supermodel Sandwich -Holding On To You -O Divina -My Dark Places -What Shall I do? -Testify -Vibrator -She Kissed Me -You Will Pay Tomorrow -Do You Love Me Like You Say You Do -Sayin' About You Encore: -Moon River (Acapella) -Jumpin' Jack Flash Thoroughly enjoyable show, spoke to TTD afterwards and got my "Wildcard: Jokers Edition" signed. Anyone else here attend? Started a "Non-prince: Music" thread for the report: http://www.prince.org/msg...&tid=28912 [This message was edited Sun Nov 24 11:40:51 PST 2002 by Essence] [This message was edited Sun Nov 24 11:45:45 PST 2002 by Essence]

Yes, Prince and TTD definately recorded a song together. They also discussed forming a group together, possibly with others, but this idea was dropped due to their record contracts at the time. TTD still considers this a possibility, but as a non-Jehovas Witness, I guess Larry wouldn't approve
Want proof? Go to www.sanandapromotion.com, click on "Sananda" on the left of the screen, then when the pop-up window appears, click on "It's been said", and then keep clicking next question until you reach question 14. Unfortunately each question has to load before the next can be accessed. But you will hear TTD talking about the above recording.

That sucks about the live show. But at least he can still create some magic in the studio!

Terence is a poor man's Prince. Always was, always will be.
Though I hate to compare musicians as it always is a matter of taste I really have to contradict here. In my opinion all albums TTD / Sananda has released are fantastic as well as many of his B-sides. His songwriting is as good as Prince's in my opinion and his voice and lyrics are even better. He also is a fantastic live performer with an incredible voice and his concerts are great even if his current band is not as great as the one Prince is currently touring with. I have been to 50 Prince concerts in my life and yes I really did enjoy them, but the best concert I've seen in my whole life was one of TTD's "Vibrator" tour and not a Prince show.
