Eye don't know the order of the different tracklistings considered by O+>, but here r the songs who have been considered 4 inclusion : - Days Of Wild (studio) - Interactive (not the version from Crystal Ball but the 1 on the Interactive CD-Rom & video from The Beautiful Xperience) - Acknowledge Me - Ripopgodazipa - Hide The Bone - Mad - Funky Design Please somebody correct me if eye 4got any. Considering they more or less come from the same sessions, maybe u should also include Love Sign, Rock & Roll Is Alive & Calhoun Square on ur CDs, they would fit anyway... Apart from the stud version of Days Of Wild, all these songs have been released in 1 4rm or another. Peace & let us know whwt will b ur Gold Xperience...

Still, eye remember reading in Uptown way back in 94 dat the other songs eye've mentioned have been considered 4 the album. But eye don't think there was any order, u'll have 2 create ur own Gold Experience...

Well, eye know these 2 songs also xist with Sonny on vocal & have been considered 4 Exodus, but Uptown said they were 1st considered 4 Gold, which makes sense 2 me cuz they would fit, & the Prince version of Funky Design don't have the choirs of the NPG version, which proves it has been reworked AFTER 4 Exodus.

As JimiPaisley already said, there were only 2 completed & sequenced versions of The Gold Experience prior to it's release.
1st version: 01. NPG Operator 0:11 02. Interactive 3:01 03. NPG Operator 0:06 04. Days Of Wild 3:44 05. NPG Operator 0:18 06. The Most Beautiful Girl In The World 4:36 07. NPG Operator 0:20 08. Now 4:30 09. Acknowledge Me 5:27 10. Ripopgodazippa 4:40 11. NPG Operator 0:16 12. 319 3:19 13. NPG Operator 0:10 14. Shy 5:03 15. Billy Jack Bitch 5:32 16. Hate U 5:54 17. NPG Operator 0:44 18. Gold 7:23 Track 1 is the same as the NPG Operator before Endorphinmachine on the released version. Track 2 is the same as on Crystal Ball, except without the "R U ready?" bit. Track 3 is the "If U want 2 access another experience, here's how" segue (normally included on the beginning of bootlegs of the studio version Days Of Wild). Track 4 is the short studio version of Days Of Wild (unreleased) Track 6 is the slightly longer original version used on The Beautiful Experience E.P. Tracks 9 & 10 are exactly the same as on Crystal Ball. Also, there's no gap between the end of Now and the scream at the beginning of Acknowledge Me. Track 12 is the same as on the released version. It's just that the whole "319 please" segue was originally included as part of 319 rather than as part of the NPG operator segue. 2nd version: 01. Pussy Control 5:59 02. NPG Operator 0:12 03. Endorphinmachine 4:07 04. Shhh 7:18 05. We March 4:49 06. NPG Operator 0:06 07. Days Of Wild 3:44 08. NPG Operator 0:18 09. The Most Beautiful Girl In The World 4:25 10. Dolphin 4:59 11. NPG Operator 0:20 12. Now 4:30 13. NPG Operator 0:31 14. 319 3:09 15. NPG Operator 0:10 16. Shy 5:04 17. Billy Jack Bitch 5:32 18. Hate U 5:54 19. NPG Operator 0:45 20. Gold 7:23 Identical to the released version, except for the inclusion of Days Of Wild (and it's preceeding NPG Operator) which are identical to the ones on version 1. Days Of Wild was dropped from The Gold Experience at the last minute. P Control was originally titled Pussy Control but changed just prior to release. The Gold Experience went through many changes prior to these 2 sequenced versions, with a lot of the tracks on Come and The Gold Experience swapping between albums. There were also earlier longer edits of Days Of Wild and Billy Jack Bitch. It's difficult to say which tracks recorded around this time may or may not have been included on earlier versions of The Gold Experience, as there was a vast amount of material recorded around this time. It was probably Prince's most prolific period since 1986/87. There was also an earlier rumor that tracks from both come and The Gold Experience (plus others) would have been included on a 2 or 3 CD set possibly entitled The Dawn. It's just my opinion, but I think Prince made a huge mistake by dropping the song "Days Of Wild" from the album. There were several other strong songs that also should have appeared on the album. Here's the way I think the CD should have been released...
PRINCE 'DAYS OF WILD' CD---Released in summer of 1994. "Interactive" "Endorphinmachine" "Days Of Wild" "The Most Beautiful Girl In The World" "Hide The Bone" "Ripopgodazippa" "Dolphin" "Love Sign" featuring Nona Gaye "Now" "319" "Shy" "Acknowledge Me" "Billy Jack Bitch" "I Hate U" "Gold" Notice I removed the weaker tracks like "P Control","We March" and "Shhh" (cool song but I prefer Tevin's version).Maybe those tracks could have been used as B-sides.

DavidEye - I agree about P Control but I love We March and Shhh. Personally I love making up pretend albums by Prince or and this was one of my favourites, a double album combining the best from Come, TGE and outtakes: DISK ONE "What's My Name" (cool seeing as the previous album would have started with My Name is Prince!) "Endorphinmachine" "Shhh" "We March" "Pheromone" "Loose!" "Papa" "Race" "Dark" "Come" DISK TWO "Days Of Wild" "The Most Beautiful Girl In The World" "Dolphin" "Now" "Shy" "18 & Over" "Acknowledge Me" "Billy Jack Bitch" "I Hate U" "Gold" B SIDES RipopGodazippa P Control Rock N Roll Is Alive Strays Of The World 'I loved him then, I love him now and will love him eternally. He's with our son now.' Mayte 21st April 2016 = the saddest quote I have ever read! RIP Prince and thanks for everything.

SOMETIMES I WONDER WHAT THE MAN IS THINKING WHEN HE PUTS STUFF OUT. i MEAN Hate you was good as a single it got decent radio play but there was no video release- it could have been much more than what it was. Seriously i was a bit dissapointed with The Gold Experience- I hardly listen to it now. I mean Dolphin, Shy hate you Billy jack bitch 319 and gold are good the others I ca nseriously live without. AND YES I THINK COME WAS A BETTER ALBUM. i don't like hip hop Prince Altho SHY is some of the best stuff he has done.

So dis forum is becoming "how would u have liked the Gold Experience 2 have been like ?". Anyway, as most of us eye have wondered the same with every album, but we have 2 admit dat :
- Either we should consider every album bein in the order of the recording sessions (which means every album is a 7 CD-set). - Either we have 2 do as eye do : accept an album is what is IS, i.e. what Prince wanted it 2 b when he decided 2 release it, & stop tryin' 2 figure out HOW it should or could have been. Still, eye also remember of dis rumor about Come & Gold bein' released as a 2 or 3 CD set. Does any1 knows if it's true or pure bullshit ?

I remember in winter 1994,The Prince Family newsletter printed a rumor that 'TGE' would be a 2-CD set containing not only the 'Gold' tracks, but also 'The Undertaker' songs as well.It was to be released on Tommy Boy Records ( a divison of Warner Bros).

I consider the extended version of 'Billy Jack Bitch' (including the 'New Dell Inn' horn portion) to be the only essential outtake from this time.

How about the "319" extended version? Or better yet the "Dolphin" extended version? Neversin. Hell, thanks for reminding me! The 'Glam Slam Ulysses' versions of some of the tracks from the 'Come' album, as well as the 'Versace Experience' versions of 'P. Control' are all essential listening! .
