Question Of U is on Graffiti Bridge. ... and "Johnny" is on Goldnigga. I'm beginning to think that this Bkk1981 needs to bone-up on the basics if he is going to hang out on the org. . [This message was edited Wed Nov 20 11:29:38 PST 2002 by lovemachine]

Question Of U is on Graffiti Bridge. There are TWO unreleased versions of 'The Question Of U', both orchestral, which are currently doing the rounds amongst collectors. 'Be My Mirror' is an unreleased demo from the aborted 'I'll Do Anything' project. 'Habibi' is a recent internet-only track. 'Johnny' is a track from the 'Goldnigga' CD. 'Splash' was an unreleased track recorded in 1986 with Wendy and Lisa, intended for the projected 'Roadhouse Garden' album that never saw the light of day. 'Splash' is available as another internet only release in full version, however. 'Come Outside And Play' (real title: 'Play') is a post-'Graffiti Bridge' era outtake. A good version of this can be found on the 'Deposition' triple-CD boot. 'Make It Through The Storm' is one of Prince's best sounding demos from the late seventies. The best version of this is on the 'Studio Nights' set. 'Broken' is a 'Controversy' era outtake, while '2020' is an 'Emancipation' leftover. . "You don't frighten us, English pig dogs. Go and boil your bottoms, sons of a silly person."

Broken is a dirty Mind outtake.. the original segue goes from "Got a broken heart again into Broken" and on top of that come outside and play's original title was " u want me to what??" look it up [This message was edited Wed Nov 20 11:59:31 PST 2002 by Finess]

But I think u could forgive me for having quite a few unreleased songs but not these two substandard albums. As for Goldnigga... it's much easier to be lazier than, say, use the search function as some know-it-alls suggest when there are many helpful people on the org

Make It Through The Storm - on the version I have the vocals don't really sound like Prince. High falsetto but not really like Prince, too smooth.
What about "G-Spot", anybody know that song? And "Still Would Stand..." where is that from?

'Broken' definitely was made during the 'Controversy' sessions (although it wasn't placed on any configuration of that album). As for 'U Want Me 2 What' that was just another title that bootleggers have erroneously given to 'Play'. You could argue that 'A Better Place 2 Die' was 'Moonbeam Levels'' "original" title, but you'd still be wrong. . "You don't frighten us, English pig dogs. 'G-Spot' was another Prince composition and a studio demo with his vocal is doing the rounds. It is from the 'Purple Rain' era. Prince gave this song to Jill Jones (who portrayed the waitress in PR) and she released her own version on her first album. As for 'Still Would Stand All Time', this is a track from Prince's "sub-standard" officially released 'Graffiti Bridge' album... . "You don't frighten us, English pig dogs. It's not a particularly impressive album is it GB? I might put it on my Xmas list in about 2006 and see if Santa will get it.
