Honestly, anyone who puts a stipulation on a conversation is setting it up for failure, especially a stipulation as subjective as 'contributing something worthwhile'. This introduces a performance anxiety component that is really counterproductive to the natural flow between human beings. It also places one individual in the position of judge and jury. Ewww. The conversation commences in an environment of inequality.

Besides, a 'worthwhile' contribution is relative. Seeing as Prince nor I know each other, we'd have no idea what the other would deem worthwhile. Given the opportunity, I'd kick it with him like I do any new person I meet, being fully aware that we may or may not hit it off, and not being affected if we do nor disappointed if we don't.

I have nothing for Prince. I would listen.

I'd just ask him what's on his mind.....and just listen and not really say much at all. Give him a chance to be heard. Listen unconditionally and let him express himself. I guess that would be my gift....I think it's important to let people to know that you really care and don't judge.....I love learning about different people.....we are all walking story books of knowledge.

Well, as someone who's studying Philosophy, and as Prince has obviously read quite a bit as his lyrics have shown over the years, I'd just chat to him about his readings and interpretations of things like religious theory, moral philosophy and the existence of free will, and how they relate to his output and future plans.

Can't imagine he'd be too enthused at that prospect.....

Either that, or just how the hell a hairy, perverted little guy gets so many women. All this "women love tall, intelligent, nice guys" doesn't seem to ring true for me.....

I'd ask him a question or two about his life.
