Like a lot of folks, princey probably defines sex as penetration of one person by another. He thinking straight copulation. So if he masturbates or gets orally served by a woman he gonna think he celibate cuz he didn't stick it in there. What would he have to gain by lying about his celibacy? Good question and it begs this quesiton...Why do celebrities lie about anything - period? What do they have to gain by lying?

Nobody is going to respect Prince more just b/c he claims celibacy at 50 and we're not going to disrespect him more if he continues the bachelor playboy lifestyle he's known for. He could be saying hes celibate as a message to Mani still trying to reassure her that he never cheated, could be a message for the JWs to ease whatever suspicion they may have about his behavior outside the kingdom hall, could be he's trying to ease the concerns of whatever chick is waiting in the background thinking she a future wifey/baby momma.

sex is not over rated to me. It all depends on how much you like it. Some people like sex more than others. It's all in how you look at it and what it means to you and if your partner(s) are giving you what you want and visa versa.

If he has, I think it's stupid. There's no reason on God's green earth to just give up on sex. One might as well stop having naps or taking walks. Sure, you can live without it, but what's the point in giving it up?

First of all, sex is not overrated. With time and true love it becomes more and more transcendent.

Second, I know several people who have been extremely sexual in their past who evolve to the other extreme of being celibate. It's fascinating. But this is common and is part of some sort of cause and effect pattern.

In some way I think such people are doing penance or trying to purify.
