"The Vault." 5 Women, because I haven't heard any other song off that album. Even if I did, I still like 5 Women. It's different (for it's time) and it's bluesy. Me likes. "The Black Album"

Anna Stesia
from start to finish, it is a masterpiece. It gets u into a part of Prince's psyche rarely seen and at times, there are no words to describe it. Next album: Around the World in a Day Side-note: c'mon guys make it more interesting and say WHY you picked the song you picked. had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. I like America and Pop Life (the dance version) He uses that echo effect (sure there's a better term for it) and that enhances the songs "color". I love the "Boom! The bomb goes...Boom!" part. Pop Life....I can't explain it. I just can't. It's like everytime I hear the song it's like the first time .I can't put my finger on it...The vocals their just "magical" lol.. It's not even a joke how different and amazing that song is. [Edited 9/24/08 19:46pm] "Lovesexy" - From the person above. [Edited 9/24/08 19:51pm]

Musicology dear mr man because the lyrics r very poignant especially in these daze and times in the world. lyrics like "y u let ur people keep on strugling but u won't lend a helping hand" (unless ur some multi national company but the farmer that can't get his crops 2 grow won't c a dime. and the single mother that lost her job so she struggles 2 feed her family..etc etc) next album: FOR YOU man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

Chopped liver? I'll answer your question. My favorite track from Purple Rain changes from time to time. Right now, I'll go with "The Beautiful Ones." It's the first time I'd heard Prince play any ballad on piano. I didn't even know he could play piano before seeing him do this in the movie (where I heard this song the first time). But he plays it very well. And the lyrics blow me away. Just who are "the beautiful ones"? I have a couple of theories, but I think the delivery is what truly makes this a classic. He's so passionate about this love and you can truly feel it. The best part is where the momentum builds and passion is all you hear. And good answer for "Dear Mr. Man" L4OA Next album: For You had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone

[/quote] Side-note: Couldn't agree more. One time I was walking back to my apartment with my iPOD and it was now raining. I didnt know it was going to rain, so I was just walking thru the woods in my regular everyday clothes. I turned the song on, nobody else was around, and I gotta say: listening to "Anna Stesia" while walking through the rain is an interesting experience. Having said that, game on. next album ...Prince had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone
