Just listened, yeah it's standard Prince sound of late, but its good.

Whomever complains about the horns you gotta be crazy, those horns are awsome! They and the guitar solo are the highlight of the song.
Nice bassline.

I havent listened to the live version yet, but this to seems like the kind of song that would benifit from that urgent live atmosphere, since it is a live band sound.
my only complaint, which also goes for alot of recent Prince albums is the vocals need more urgency and passion.
If this is realeased on a cd, it should be a higher energy live revamp,.with audience hoots and haws.

and yes not only do i miss the 80's , but what i most miss is quality music and art..

and L4OA - Erotic City will kick and stomp all over the Gold Experience, nothing on that CD is near as funky or more innovative than Erotic City and I enjoy the GoLd Experience.

i laugh at u, aint Bily Jack a revamped version of Sex Shooter sythn/keys.

actually i enjoyed BJB live when I saw him at the Palladuim, it tends to get funky but can't compete with Erotic City, or any thing off the 1999 CD.

And the 1999 CD does say Prince and the Revolution on the artwork, so i take that as a P&Revolution masterpiece. Oh my Automatic - so phunky and DMSR!! Whew.. somebody bring u a mirror so i can see your jaw drop!

Give me a NPG song that can beat "Mountain's" extended version. The Revolution will b heard!!

It's time to ease back and write some good material.. I realize he is very persistent about releasing music but it's obvious by the quality that his enormous quantity of new music decreases with each release. enough is enough. I want something I can turn on a year later.. these quick fix albums aren't good enough to listen to a year later..

Oh Em Gee, I listen to this channel all the time anyway, I've listened to it for years. But I still ain't heard it.

I haven't heard either "News Flash" songs (I'm still miffed a bit). If I hear them it will be when they are hits on the radio stations in the car. At least for now.
