i dont know if anyone has mentioned this yet but i think it would make sense if prince puts an extra cd in with the ona live box set so that the members feel they are getting good value and the cost of posting them together would make good sense as well.
i cant see anything else being sent out before the end of febuary after the boxset is sent out so i feel this is what may well happen.
i think prince will realise that the piano cd and ona live boxset is not enough to keep his fan club members happy, not for $100, so lets see what happens.

He is! The retail version of ONA Live will be the two discs for the show. The NPGMC version contains the aftershow disk as well.

Prince most likely does not give a shit what makes his fans happy... hell, that fuck could have at least put some MP3s on his site this year... anything... but, no.

We get a piano disc that is 30 minutes long... not to mention that half of it was released in last year's club.

I will not sign up for another year of Prince's bullshit.

In short, I do not think that he will give us anything more than he is obligated to give us.

The Retail version WILL in my opinoin contain ALL 3 DISKS

as all the press releases and listening parties etc quote 3

discs and give the full track listings for all 3 disks.

And the various magazines, website etc all state that

Members will get the Set First and that it will be going to

retail after 'sometime in the fall'. And they are only

quoting what they get from NPGMC, and don't mention any 2

set / 3 set differences.

Xenophobia really would make every club Member Happy and I

reckon we've got about 25% chance of getting this WITH ONA

LIVE! and um..50% of getting it before Xmas/end of year 2.


Personally I don't give a sandwhich about the exclusivity

of the CD's or not as many seem to. Getting them first and

dircet from Minni is cool and exciting, I don't understand

the 'problem' of whether they go to retail or not. It will

not lessen or improve my enjoyment of the Music if other

people can or can't get copies: GET A GRIP PEOPLE! !

Finally: I also feel that Club Members should get more than

ONA Live! before year 2 ends. It shouldn't be that hard and

it would make everyone happy!

And I think next year he will wonder why there is such a big difference between 2002's and 2003's subscribtions, and then he's gonna blame it on, anything... but not the way he's running the club.

I think it is possible (although very unlikely) that they might make available for download all the ONA alone concerts by country. The 'test' that they completed last week by allowing dutch? members to download a mp3 from the NPGMC might be an indication of this actually happening. I think I read somewhere / got the impression at the London gigs that he finally will allow us access to the concert of your choice.

Does year 2 end on 31st Dec 2002 or sometime in Feb, I thought it was the former.
