Original. I have a massive Prince collection, more Prince stuff (CD's, tapes, vinyl, DVD's, VHS) than any other artist.
Pretty sure the only CD album I'm missing currently is ONA Piano. |

Original, always original, even stuff that I already bought as a bootleg before.I still buy anything that comes out officially. Prince has a fan base that would love to buy anything he releases from the vault, even if they already have bought it before. This is something that Prince himself probably is not aware of, hence his paranoia of bootleggers.

I'll always buy the originals. I like to hear everything I can as soon as possible, so I'll download whatever I can lay my hands on but as soon as a new CD or DVD is released, I'm there.
I'd gladly pay Prince for all the unreleased stuff I have if he'd release it. I understand his need for artistic control but once it's out there, why not rain on the bootleggers parade and release it himself? RIP  | |

I have bought all offical releases up until the Musicology. How ever there is alot of music by Prince I want that has never been released. At this point Prince needs to go back to the online model he had before. Making the 'Vault' music available to all the fans would be a no brainer cash cow. | |

I downloaded a lot of shit last year, and now I'm buying all of them on CD.
I love CD's...The covers, the case, the liner notes. If I had a record player I'd get Vinyl. They're so big and wow.
I like the way the draw I keep all my cd's in look...its so colorful and alphabetized. 
I hate mp3...they're so disorganized and impersonal and strange. I want something I can hold.... Something that won't vanish when my computer spazzes out. | |

OH wait a minute... I picked up The Black Album on vinyl the year it leaked out as a boot. Also had New Power Radio Show on vinyl once and Sex Machine boot on vinyl. Now I own Zero amount of Boots OR unauthorized downloads. >>>> My friend Josh sent Prince $78.00 dollars because he downloaded 78 songs from an non-authorized site. Check was sent to Paisley Park. I would love to get Pr live I wish they would put that out on DVD Original 87 black album on vinyl is going to be pricey. Plus so many bootlegs of black album over the years it might not even be an original. Your best bet is to get a vinyl copy of it when it was finally released years later like a promo copy or some of the retail european copies that were sold in record stores.
