Barak really needs a song now to push past the recharged republican base. i'm thinking P could re-write the lyrics of Purple Rain to reflect Barak's politcal race and maybe give a boost in the polls.

It makes perfect sense and there are no expicit lyrics involved with that song, so they wouldn't be able to argue about that. P does make reference to leaders and some spiritual movement in PR, so i'd think it would be incredibly easy to transfer over Baraks ideas and rhetoric in a re-write.

it would be killer, plus it would somewhat be another comeback for Prince. Win/Win.

though, i could just see him making deals with both partys and writing a song for John McCain.

anyways, what do you guys think?
