Would you get rid of the Prince tracks you don't Like?

The title kinda says it all. In this day and age of Mp3s and storing music digitally, would you contemplate deleting Prince tracks for good that you know you never listen to, or just don't like?

I guess the same question applies for other music in your collection too?

I only ask because my mp3 collection is getting so bloated that I wonder whether it is time to lose some material from the disc. it will also stop the ipod playing some clangers when it's on shuffle! wink

Tell you the truth, yeah I take out all of the Prince songs I don't like or listen to. In fact, I took out a couple of his songs I always skip this morning before I went to work. When I put on my iPod, I want to listen to the music that I love or enjoy a lot. I don't want to be skipping songs, so I take out what I don't like and Prince is no exception to this rule. Besides, I have the CD's so if I ever play that song I don't like again in the future and I suddenly like it, I'll put it back on the iPod. smile
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Yeah...
Someone asked me to play "Little Red Corvette" and I didn't have it... don't like it. hmph!

There are a number of songs I've just deleted because they've bored me or because I constantly skipped them. It's okay to not like some Prince music... comfort

No. Simply because there have been tracks in the past that I haven't really liked or just haven't 'felt' so I skipped them to get to the good stuff - but when I revisited them later in life I ended up LOVING them! If I deleted any I might miss a real gem shrug

Delete off the ipod, but keep them unchecked in the library, every now and then I go a little strange and upload the Rainbow children songs, and then unsync them realising they won't improve with age. And then the albums you hate and don't have, its easy to get the 2 or 3 bearable songs on to the device and forget the rest. cool

Dear, no. The only reason to get an ipod is to store Prince music..I only remove other musician's music to store more Prince mp3s.. I live for more Prince mp3s...lol lol lol

I only delete a song on my mp3 player or computer if I have it on cd. If I don't have it on cd I'll delete it from my mp3 player but not from my computer. Since I like so much of Prince's music it's interesting to keep his musical blunders too so I can revisit them and contrast them with his good songs. And also, sometimes I might change my opinion about a song that I previously didn't like.
