Actually, P let Tina Turner sing "Baby I'm a Star" for a Target commercial, and the NBA used "We Gets Up" about 7 years ago in a national campaign for the start of the season.

and the SOTT movie performance of LRC was used in a Chevy commercial a few years ago.

violetblues	I could see "Take Me With U" used perfectly with tons of products, perfect song for a TV commercial, and for some reason, love it or hate it, it still sounds fresh to this day!,..but you could say that about the entire Purple Rain album, timeless! [Edited 9/10/08 19:57pm]
