Kick-ass CD, best of the 3 NPG albums. Possibly too many segues, but that's what mp3 players are for.
Standout tracks for me: Hallucination Rain (11 min. version is fantastic), Exodus Has Begun, ROTBS, Mashed Potato Girl and Cherry Cherry. A few mediocre moments maybe, but not really a duff track on there tbh.

Extremely funky and hugh morrus!
Wish P. played the one-eye Bass upfront a bit more again... he just seems to dabble live nowadays and just play on session. 'dre Tried many flavours - but sooner or later, always go back to the Purple Kool-aid!

The segues really bring it down and I really don't like Cherry Cherry but the rest is pretty good but theres nothing on that i feel is truly outstanding. [Edited 9/7/08 10:29am] | |
