Music Video I was just watching an old tape that my older sister recorded on. It was music videos from like 1994 on Mtv. On it was a half of a Prince music vid. I'm not sure what it is b/c it's only like the end part, so I was wondering if you could help me on this one. It goes like this...pop pop pop goes the pistol bang bang goes the gun..and in the vid is him in his studio and then it shoes a lady carring a brief/suit case and later she's driving a red car...So I wondering if anyone knew what song this is?? Yeah, it is Love Sign.
This song came out in the summer of '94. I remember hearing it on the radio, and waiting for it to be released. This song really is unique. Great message, great lyrics and awesome music. I love it -- I just wish it would've had a stronger release, instead of being grouped in 1-800-New-Funk. That compilation seems to be mainly "throwaway" songs, and Love Sign is definitely NOT a throwaway. It is one of the strongest songs released as "  ".
IMO, it would've had a very nice home on The Gold Experience. | |
