Yes, I think he was not interested in the politics.. although in Cinnamon girl he does express his view.

Oh yes, he told Tavis Smiley that politics are just 'semantics' ! Or something like that... He said he's more interested in spiritual matters ....

cool interview & cool timing..he was very cute & gracious.
what surprised me was how he implied he might get in2 trouble should he be late 4 the rehearsal! he kinda pulls a face & says he's gotta be there, or else they'd be gone.. eek

Prince has always been VERY hip to world politics - several interviewers over the years have commented on his blow-by-blow knowledge of world events. However, I think it was pretty obvious that he was dodging the interviewer's question. I don't blame him. It was a bad and trite question (imo), and there is no way to answer it without alienating some people - and his goal with Musicology was to secure his legacy, not to step on toes.

He feels that Mr Man let us down. I know little about the Jw religion, so they are to have no opinions on politics at all, I always thought a rule of thumb was celebs kept those thing privete. I don't see what his thoughts on 9/11 had to do with politics, he has admitted that he was a news Junkie.

He didn't say he had no opinion on politics or the world around him, he SAID he thought 'politics' were just semantics and he believed everything comes down to spirituality in the end, that doesn't mean he doesn't have an opinion - why do people try to twist things all the time?!! mad

I beleive that is what I was asking not twisting, I know little about the religion. just wanted to get my facts straight.
