I am sick to death of seeing people profiting by selling bootleg DVD's on EBAY.

I have reported them on numerous occasions but they are still on?????

I tried to sell Snoop Doggs DVD "Doggystyle" which I bought off ebay and got a demand to remove it. That was authentic!

It's so annoying seeing people profit from an illegal activity. Do you think the Prince Police can do anything to stop these Bootleggers?

Ebay is great for buying rare stuff but Bootlegs are a step too far!

I guess....but where I am from U mind Ur business. Unless someone is being hurt...I mind my own business...That is why Prince pays his lawyers. If he doesn't want them there he will take care of it...trust me.

Ebay does not allow bootlegged material... but Ebay is too big to monitor individual auctions. Ususally complaints are investigated and auctions shut down.

Whether your selling bootlegs or 'official' stuff on Ebay, in both cases, the 'artist' gets paid nothing whatsoever. So in that sense, the whole of Ebay is a rip-off?

They should have the information about their licence on the site. I don't see how those MP3 stores could exist if what they are selling is actually pirated. You can check if they are legitimate by looking them up on some of the watchdog sites too.

Some of it would be dodgy though,I'm sure. Like that site that screwed people over with tickets to the Olympics.

If anyone has more information about which sites are selling his material legally for download (apart from iTunes), I would love to know

I would never report people to ebay unless like some one
said it was hurting some one or an animal.....

I use to be in touch with a wonderful guy who copied so many
great shows and stuff for me.. but he faded away and he probably
got scared off cause people complained.

Prince is rich enough and I'm more than happy he makes all the money he does. He does an outstanding job. What I don't like is people profiting from this activity.
