and no they don't have to break up because of them, but even a miscarriage can 'rock' a relationship, it's a painful thing. To actually lose a full term baby, a week after birth is one of the worst things that could probably ever happen to anyone! Devastating, some couples might get through it, others just can't...

I probably didn't put it the best way. I just think this song seems very affected and not genuine to me. It's like he wrote the song to garner sympathy for himself and for the great wrongs he felt he had endured. Something about the protegee line especially smacks of that in a singular way.
