moderatorAre you talking about the commercial for Prince Pasta Sauce? He didn't do a commerical for them. They just did a spot back in 84-85 where they had a stage and a voiceover announcing something like the biggest act of the year (or maybe it was "now appearing" or "a concert of flavors"--can't remember exactly). Anyway, then a spotlight came on and it was a pasta sauce with the brand name of Prince.
In the Rolling Stone interview Prince did in 85, he said he thought it was the cutest commercial but his lawyers stopped it from being shown without Prince's involvement. | |
