Does prince know how to play this? I've seen him play other styles but never seen him do raeggae live. is he inept?
I loved the song blue light but I think he was high playing around when he wrote that.

Could he do an all raeggae album? or is this too much out of his musical knowledge?

i would hate 2 see him with dreadlox.

I don't think reggae is really his style

I know that Prince could do an album in that fashion...I just believe he favors a variety of styles.

Blue light is garbage. I c an barely listen to that album at all. (though the few good songs are truly fantastic).

'm sure he does..it sounds like he fused some reggae sound into his song "the sun,moon, and stars".

If he can do country he can do reggae.

One of Prince's salient traits is his ability to absorb disparate musical genres almost by osmosis. In that regard, Owen Husney compared him to a sponge in the studio and commented on how he could absorb knowledge from others until he proved to be more adept than the person showing him the ropes and before others realised what was happening.

On that evidence I believe he is very well equipped to master any musical style if he really set his heart to it.
