"Damned if eye do" The Controversy. "Damned if do,"The Controversy.
I Love the song...I Love Prince's music all over the place. It is within the Lyrics that we can discuss something, if you are a non-musician. This song, is typically a masculine opinion. The stero-typed man saying to his Lover, "You wanted me here, just to argue about how late I am." And I agree with the fact that women do that to a man. Where the problem is, is the age of the man we are dealing with, or the maturity level. A man knows when Love is being jeapordized because of making it a second priority to work. If it is work, it is easier to sympathize with the man that is worried about financially supporting the future. However, you would sympathize with the woman, if the lack of time devoted to the relationship isn't going to secure the future between them. What do you believe? "The Lion Sleeps Tonight...

Boy U guys...In the world of electronics, I at least thought a man would have responded by now...The truth is, that a man that dilly dallies...Is confused about sugar coated donuts...and it makes a woman start being curious about somebody else's stick.
Where is the love here? "The Lion Sleeps Tonight...

Sometimes you have to tell man what a man is...because He doesn't know....
It means a man will tell the truth...that pretty toys were more important than a relationship he had to put together or repair. And the woman that loves him has no other choice but to eat forgiveness for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And if it's Love she will...and then the two of them can play cards instead of eachother. It is sad, that a woman can have a man's mind...isn't it? That is when the man turns feminine, and runs to the store for a bouquet of, "I'm sorry," flowers. Am I right? Wow, this is a tough one, Tame. There's so much here, so maybe I'll respond in several posts (oh boy! )
The conflict like the one described herein is more likely to happen when both parties or the relationship are/is young, less stable and uncertain of the love they make. In a longer term relationship often this scenario is all about one person believing they are being taken for granted. When the door of doubt is open there is opportunity to stray, even if its just one's imagination. A solid relationship is less likely to entertain such doubt and discomfort. Reminds me of the scene in the movie Sex And The City where Samantha plans to suprise Smith Jarrod by lying naked with sushi all over her body on Valentines day evening. He comes home late from work and she starts yelling at him and throwing the homemade, handmade sushi at him.....

Where is the love here? I agree with you on this one. Women have more options now. Guys have to watch out for the produce guy.

A young relationship is unstable, I agree...however, even in a long term relationship people are new everyday, so we can't take for granted that a familiar relationship doesn't still need to be reassessed periodically...leaving the trust door open.
I know that a man needs to be trusted...that is where his self worth derives from, a woman too, because it hurts just as much to not be trusted as it does to doubt your partner....although, an imagination can stray at any time...capturing a thought is by the second, and putting it in it's proper place is a responsibility...Because a thought that just happens will either go into the passing bin...or become a seed toward action. If two people do not know if the other person is responsible with these thoughts...a doubt door is painted...The person that paints the door, paints the exit as a possibility....and uses it as a selfish excuse to walk away. Because when you dive into love...You are supposedly diving into 100 percent of trust. Expecting that you will deliver what you expect. And honesty...is either all truth or less than...So even if the truth is not as charismitic as 99 percent of the truth...One person will be crying with confusion...Not with truth. So does TIME spent with the person spell LOVE? Or not? "The Lion Sleeps Tonight...

And, this offended you...sorry...you must've been hurt in the past...Girls have to feel like donunts everyday...It hurts...doesn't it? Makes you wanna send her to the grocery store? Well some guys trust their girl's flour...Other guys think their girl is gonna look for another pretzel, just because he works in a bakery. What we say and how we feel can mean two different things, right? "The Lion Sleeps Tonight...

Possibly moreso. Reassurance/assessment is also a way for both to build upon the initial promise of love.
Trust is essential without it, it's bricks and no mortar. If two people do not know if the other person is responsible with these thoughts...a doubt door is painted...The person that paints the door, paints the exit as a possibility....and uses it as a selfish excuse to walk away.
That is quality of love is key; it takes time to design a love that will last eternally; a clean canvass and a little body paint doesn't hurt either. Because when you dive into love...You are supposedly diving into 100 percent of trust. Expecting that you will deliver what you expect.
In a solid relationship, one expects a pairing of love and trust when a true promise is made. Is there any other way? I think the fun is in the delivering. And honesty...is either all truth or less than...So even if the truth is not as charismitic as 99 percent of the truth...One person will be crying with confusion...Not with truth.
Honesty, truth and trust are the composition of a love supreme. If any of these elements is questionable, the door to everlasting love begins to close. So does TIME spent with the person spell LOVE? Or not?
Not exclusively. Time, if spent wisely, can be the foundation for an enduring love relationship but without the composite of quality interaction, truth, honesty and trust there's no reinforcement for when the winds blow and the rain storms come.

Twinkly..You are a sweet guy in a salty kinda way...Love Eternal is the sweetest blessing...and Trust is the man and woman being worth their Salt.
In time...Heaven must surely secure the ground with the sky...As those in love tie the U 2 the I... Pure Honesty...and Whole truth...will certainly weather any storm. Like Mother Nature and Father Sky...True Love will naturally survive. "The Lion Sleeps Tonight...

If it's not Mayte, must be WB. 1996: Prince was in the process of leaving WB. This cut was on the Emancipaiton album. If we look at the song in terms of his "relationship" with WB, he says you want me and I'm willing, but when I try to please you, you're not willing to do me right, so I'll just say goodby -- F+++U VeryMuch! Did I get it right?
