He wasn't a vegetarian in 1987. He isn't a vegetarian now.
He was for a time in between...but it was long after he wrote that line. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves. | |

I know plenty of hefty vegetarians - trust me, you can be overweight no matter what you eat. Youthful looks are largely genetic. Plus, Prince has stayed out of the sun and never been a habitual smoker or drug user (that we know of). That's why he looks young. (Well...that and a lot of Photoshop and light-diffusing make-up.) I mean...he could be a vegetarian again...but there have been reports within the past couple years of him eating fish. Flesh is flesh. He's still honored by PETA who once called him the world's sexiest vegetarian and if were known to be back on the flesh diet then they would rail him like they did Naomi Campbell. And um lets see, oh yeah, while he's always been thin he was always very muscular which seems no more and I attribute that to a significant drop in protein ( you know- flesh). And I don't care how good your genes are, 50 is still 50 and brotha look damn good!! As for those hefty (nice way of saying fat ass) vegetarians, they need to lay off the carbs!
