PrintableI have never weighed in on one of these but here's my 2 cents; they are two different guitar players, period. It's about what you like and I do like both. That said,as a musician if I were starting a band I would take Jesse. He's a gun slinger like me. I feel like you should leave no prisoners and sometimes Prince can sound like he is holding back as to where Jesse can sound like he's pouring it all out. I have to state mine as well, BOTH are very talented musicians and both have their weaknesses and strong points(just like all musicians do).

This topic can only go one way...but to answer your question, even though Jesse is in my top ten, Prince is the MAN. He's always underatted as a guitarist...but he is goooood. You mean this one?  LOL! I couldn't have said it better. This topic seems to be omnipresent and just won't die a natural death. I said my piece on at least a half dozen or so similar threads. Anyways....about Jimi Hazel. He's a monster player with a lot of soul, even the really heavy stuff. I don't get in to whole who's better nonsense. I will say Jimi's one of my personal favorites. 21st CenturySouthBronxRockStar his solo cd is great and definitely worth checking out. |

I have a unreleased version of 'Head that is unbelieavable...but guitar goes to Jesse....what do you orgers think?
