I think Prince got a distorted message received from his antenna writing Purple Rain in the eighties, and the original message was lost in transmission. You may have a adverse reaction to the song at first. Believe me when I played it for my pastor he was taken back and didn't understand why Pure Cocaine was a holy sacrament now. I explained to him "Don't worry Pastor. YOG has told us, "it's alright It's Pure." He then said "AH" and I handed him a kilo brick and everything was as right, not as Purple Rain, as the expression goes, but as right as Pure Cocaine. Trickology...I all of a sudden see the light, that track is HOT! I don't know why I didn't notice the genius in this before, I was blinded by the bullshit but now I see/hear this song in a whole new light. I can just see the purple cocaine bricks sparkling before my opened eyes.
