I'd still be a fan but the fact that Prince wears high heels does make Prince even more unique and special.

The heels are his music's essence along with him getting his hair did.

Without his heels, he'd be like Samson without his hair. His heels are what give him his musical strength and what make him special. He is defined purely by his footwear.

Prince is Prince with or without heels for me, just need his talent

On a side note, I have always had a strange fascination with the peace symbol attached to these. I loved the closeup on it in the SOTT movie. I also loved how he switched it to a bat symbol during the Batman era. That is all.
