"3121" Lyric Book.

"3121" Lyric Book.

I like the photo's in the insert...but I am not crazy about them.

"Lolita" I am wondering if the symbol on the very nice pool table, is backwards because it is a reflection in the mirror.

"Te Amo Corazon" Nice Heart shaped mirror. The vases are empty.

"Black Sweat." Rememberable photo from the NPG Music Club.

"Incense and Candles" Very romantic looking bathtub. I wonder if the backdrop is dividing a room or if that clothe is a wall hanging. Neatly folded towels.

"Love" Beautiful shape and color for a couch...The nicest couch I have ever seen in my life.

"Satisfied." The bedroom is a nice Hotel looking bedroom...Perfect for the Insert...although it is obvious this is not Prince's bedroom for a marriage.

"Fury" I like the picture okay, but I don't care for the pillow arrangement on the "One night stand seat."

"The Word" This is the most bothersome photo as a photographer. In my opinion for starters, glass tables are not practical...The party favor pillow's are only okay...and a friend of mine from New Orleans told me that eating off of peacock feathers is bad luck.

"Beautiful, Loved and Blessed" When you are going for depth of field...the closest object to you should be in focus.

"The Dance" The chairs look comfortable.

"Get On the Boat" The fire is okay.

"Last Page." Beautiful backporch.

The emptiness of the rooms proves to be a nice background to enhance the Lyrics...Although, there would have been more warmth to the photo's if Prince and the band were in them. Overall the booklet was very generous, and the paper is beautifully colored and of a nice weight.

Is that place for real?

And if it is, does Prince really live there?

I thought the pictures were nice, seeing as we havent gotten anything that nice since Rave remix album. I think my favorite pic was the cover shot of 3121 entrance. I din't feel as though the cover of the album matched anything going on inside.

I did notice that lyrics were missing and truncated as usual.

This wasn't Prince's house. The mansion was rented to him by a famous basketball player and Prince took it upon himself to redo it. The basketball player was angry and sued him about the rennovations afterward. I'll look for the article to post. smile

Here it is:
http://www.hiphopmusic.co...zer_s.html

I guess Carlos is not hip 2 the rare housequake:

"Claiming that his $70,000-a-month tenant Prince undertook an extremely tacky makeover of his Los Angeles mansion, an NBA star recently sued the mercurial singer over the purple-hued alterations. In a January complaint, Carlos Boozer, a forward with the Utah Jazz, sued Prince/MPG Music over unauthorized work done on the West Hollywood property, which is owned by the C Booz Multifamily I LLC. According to the lawsuit, Prince/MPG Music violated its eight-month lease by "painting the exterior of the [house] with purple striping, 'prince' symbol, and numbers 3121." Prince's new album, "3121," is scheduled for release tomorrow. Inside the home, among other renovations, a purple monogrammed carpet was installed in the master bedroom and plumbing and piping was added in the downstairs bedroom "for water transfer for beauty salon chairs." As part of a promotion, Prince is expected to hold a private concert at the Hollywood property for album purchasers who find a Wonkaesque "purple ticket" inside their CD cases."

Checking back on this thread, I read what u posted Dayclear...and I think the article is interesting, because it say's that Prince is having a party for puple Wonkaesque tickets inside of the cd. Well inside was the golden ticket that said to mail in a postcard...which I did without response...however...I have always wondered if the winner of this...night with Prince was posted on NPGmusicclub....and I missed it...

I always wondered if the postcards were kept or destroyed...and never got an answer on that one....

And now I wonder if this purple ticket...is different than the gold ticket, or if this article is just mistaken.

Does anyone know?
