Didn't Prince say in an 85 interview that when he was poor he used to stand outside of McDonalds and smell the food?
Maybe Ronald McDonald offered him a hot dog and a shake when he was a little boy. Sammy Hagar probably couldn't get backstage at Prince's shows either. There's somethng totally not cool about clowns.
Does anyone remember the Edgar Allen Poe short story titled Fortunado or the Cask of Amontillado? In this story a character dressed as a clown meets his demise in the most unspeakable way. I recall while reading the story years ago that I could not stop laughing when the clown found himself "tricked". The irony of a clown being tricked was so funny to me. Anyway, clowns always seem unsavory. | |
