I dont mean on stage but on the same level as you maybe walking passed you at a premiere for instance, because I have often thought how shocked I would be at his height if I saw him close up because I myself am 6,1 and from what I have heard prince is 5ft with 3 inch heels on. I mean you cant really get a prespective on prince because all his band are tiny and Ive only ever seen him in the distance or on video. Has anyone ever seen him close up where you shocked by his height???

I saw him close up, on stage though, I was in row 3 I think... He does look very petite, but his thighs, so slim, and yet so tight! Hmmm... makes you wonder what other talents he's got!? Do you think he can run fast?

i saw him close up! and he looks just as handsome as i thought he would. he was very casual, wasn't as dressed up as we often see him. he seemed normal!

Not az close az I'd like 2 have seen him,but during ONA tour,he walked up the aisle at the beginning of the show and I had an end seat and was on Row 5.He came up 2 Row 3.Gorgeous,sexxy,pretty man! He'z perfect.

I was no more than 2feet away from him and mayte as they stepped from the black limousine at the rear of the NPG shop in Camden on the opening.

Yes, at the Musicology release party at Webster hall in NY. He walked through the crowd to the stage at the start of the show. I was very excited when they said he was going to walk through the crowd(right by me!!!!), but I was surprisingly calm when he walked by. I managed to get right next to the stage for the show so he was only a few feet away from me for the whole show.
I was also on stage at the Tamar show in Miami.

I shook hands with Prince as he was coming off stage during the musicology tour -we were in the first row.

Couple observations:

1) He is very very tiny and very thin
2) He has a great smile
3) He looks great for his age, but clearly makeup, photoshop and airbrushed photos are his best friend. I think this is why he does not want fans taking their own pictures.
4) He does smell great

At Xenophobia,

On the way back from the bathroom we both moved to the side as we went through the doorway back to the Paisley Park Concert Area to watch the opening act.

As we were passing eachother,
I thought "Wow,that guy really looks like .....oh my God!"

I went over to tell my wife what happened.

About 3 minutes goes by, then he is standing about 5 ft away from us.

A couple of people went up to him, but I was in awe.

I saw him a few more times the rest of the week.

Xenophobia was the best Vacation I have or will ever have. It was AMAZING!!!!

And only $250. Bargain of lifetime.
