He stood right beside me and my brother at the back of the audience by the dj booth as the lights went down for Indigo2 aftershow on 10 Sept..surrounded by bodyguards, we could only just see him, but he had these huge shades on and a gorgeous turquoise suit....I was just dumbstruck....then he went on stage & rocked for 2 and a half hours.....mindblowing!!

i saw him at the summit, back stage as he was coming to the van to go. he was running,so the glance was quick.....but when he sat down and looked up he saw me and i just said, hey there! and blew him a kiss.

I saw him again at a club, that same week with some dark girl and we stared at each other for a few minutes.....both paralyzed at each other's beauty i guess....

I seen him the closest during the 2001 celebration at Paisley Park. It was the night Erica Badu was in concert. I arrived late and was standing in back by this indoor palm plant or something like that. All of a sudden I seen Geneva the dancer about 5 feet away from me. I thought, that is awesome. And then someone came up and started talking to her. In retrospect, I believe in was Manni. And then all of a sudden, here comes Prince and his body guards. They weren't hovering all over him....they were standing about 3 feet away from him to give him some space to talk to Geneva and Manni. I wanted so bad to say something to him, and I am kicking myself to this day for not doing so. But it was like, I knew he knew I was standing there, because I don't think anybody at that point had realized he had entered the soundstage room. And I was like right there by the plant. Anyway, the way I was thinking was...if he is cool with me standing there hanging out in such a vicinity, I will just let him alone to talk to his friends and just hang out and relax. He hung out for about a minute and a half and then split.

To answer the original question...about what he looks like height wise. He also walked straight past me another night...I was standing at the back of the big sound stage room,because that is where I realized he roamed around after the Erica Badu night. If anyone recalls, that was the year he hurt his foot,and when he walked past me and my friends, he was walking with a cane...and that is probably the very closest I was to him. That night, feeling bad about not saying anything a few nights before, I yelled..."Hey Prince!" but I guess I really can't say that that was an actual conversation. Anyways, he reminded me of....you know in Junior high, when boys start getting like manly stalky, but they are still like adolescent short. That is what his stature reminded me of.

I was standing right next to him..and he was so cool about it...like he didnt seem to mind anything that was going on around him..he walked away from the mic to drink some fiji water..and eye kinda bumped into him..his eyes got real big..and then he kinda smirked and said "no, youre alrite:..Like most of the people who have seen him up close..eye was very calm..but shocked!.eye will never forget that moment as long as eye live!
