yes my friend just told me that she saw him at a grocery store in chanhassen, mn. he was buying sushi and his limo was waiting for him outside. her friend was like, "hey man, it's great to see you out!" and he shook all their hands!

she said she about 16 at the time. i was in shock that he shook their hands and that he was actually at a grocery store.

Mirabelle

A friend of mine used to be his driver when he was in Europe - he is always very friendly and has a special sort of humor. One day he had him in the car when I called and I heard a voice in the background "if that's yo girlfriend ask her over" - unfortunately there were in Spain at the time and I in Amsterdam....if only!
I love Prince and chocolate - in that order

My mother used to tell this story that when I was a toddler my older foster sister used to get her cookies stolen by some guy called "the Dog" (P) at school. (this would be about 1974-76 era) So mom was going to make these exlax laced choc. chip cookies to offer. To my misfortune I ate all the exlax thinking it was candy and spent the night in the bathroom. If I ever get to meet P I will tell him how I saved his ass back in the day. I really think this story cannot be true but my mom retold it so many times when she was alive whenever P came up in discussion.

I wouldn't exactly say that I met him, but he held up a line for over an hour at the Super Walmart here in Tampa once (he was three people in front of me). He was having a fierce argument with the cashier and her supervisor about the price of the ground-beef (Apparently it's cheeper up north rolleyes ).

Just the time we hung out and did karaoke. We sang Crocodile Rock. He's a mic hog, though.

Yes, I met him in London last year, on the 14th August.

He has an amazing aura. He radiates a very spiritual glow.

We spoke briefly on the phone.

I dialed 659 million phone numbers in North America.

Until I heard somebody say: 'What it is?'

I said: "Prince"?? "Yeah", he answered.

"It's me G0d". That's when he hung up on me. sad

Do any of you remember a 80s band called the Thompson Twins. Well I was in New York with them and we went to a club which I think was called Paladiam (something like that it was a long time ago) During the night the DJ put on 1999 and my mate and I rushed to the dance floor and went compleaty mad. When we met up with the Thompson Twins later on they said that P had been in the VIP bar and had been laughing at the two mad dancers. A few months later we were back in London at the Brits again with the Twins. It was the one were Prince won for Purple rain.As he walked in he said hi to Joe from the twins he shook my hand and asked if I was going to do any more dancing. It took me about two days to get over the shock.

hi all! im new to this site and the first time i've participated in discussion. i met Prince in 1992 in minneapolis on my way back to college. i met him at the airport in minneapolis. i actually bumped into one of his bodyguards with my bags and when the guy turned around to help me pick up all of my stuff. i looked up and Prince asks me, Are u ok? i say yes and he helps me get my things too. i was smitten. he wished me luck at school. i attended St olaf College in northfield minnesota. I will never forget that moment. during my many shopping excursions after the mall of america opened, my fireinds and i would see him on his motorcycle in minneapolis-st paul. he seems like a nice guy. i've been a fan since 1977 when i was 7 years old!! biggrin
