I Love "Blue Light" When I first heard the song, I had a vision of Prince looking out of the window of an airplane on a landing strip...And I always wondered if Prince wrote the lyrics in a plane...
It's beautiful. "The Lion Sleeps Tonight...

It's beautiful. You don't understand the reference to a "blue light," do you? We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

It's beautiful. You don't understand the reference to a "blue light," do you? Yes I understand the reference in the song, rather than doing it in the dark...I was just curious if Prince had thought about the lyrics on a plane, looking at blue lights on the ground...Maybe Prince can shed a blue light on where he was when he wrote the song. thanx pplrasta...The strange thing...is that when I think of a landing strip in the dark...all I can hear is that song playing...I love the comforting winter breeze the song has laced through it.
Makes me wanna lay out in my bathing suit by the fireplace. "The Lion Sleeps Tonight...

i would love to see it performed live.
Can you imagine a Prince doing Bob Marley songs? I can, especially Bufflo Soliders or Three Little Birds. [Edited 5/27/08 6:46am] No More Haters on the Internet.

I love blue light, i especially love the part where Prince says "double heart attack couple both died in a fight".

That song is awesome. I don't know why Prince didn't release that song as a single cause it would have been huge. I love the reggae vibe and the breezy feel of this song. I feel like I should be on a tropical island jammin to this song. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
