Auto playlist on Media Player dominated by Prince I happen to be looking at my play lists that are automatically generated in Windows Media Player based on the auto rating that the software uses. Most of my favorite Prince songs happen to be automatically rated with 5 stars. I don't know what they use for criteria but Prince has a disproportionate amount of songs in this category when compared to other artists. Surprisingly to me the album with the most 5 star songs is Around the World in A Day. Only Pop Life and The Ladder received 4 stars. Here's the list of his songs that rate 5 stars according to Media Player:
For You, Soft and Wet, I'm Yours, I Wanna be your Lover, Uptown, 1999, Delirious, Fury, Beautiful, Loved and Blessed, The Dance, I Would Die 4 U (live), Girls and Boys, Sometimes it Snows in April, Cream, Strollin, Play in the Sunshine, Housequake, Hot Thing, Forever in my Life, Adore, The Continental, Damn U, Last December, Sleep Around, I Can't Make U Love Me, One Of Us, Soul Sanctuary, Curious Child, Dreamin About U, The Holy River, Saviour, Free, International Lover, Vicki Waiting, Shhh, I Hate U, Gold, Comeback, Tell Me How U Wanna Be Done, Poom Poom, Get Loose, U're Gonna C Me, A Case of U, Arboretum, The Greatest Romance Ever Sold, The Beautiful Ones, Darling Nikki, Erotic City, How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore, and Extra Loveable... Nice list with some interesting gaps (Purple Rain got 4 stars). Anyone know what the ratings take into account. I'm just curious because it rated Melody Cool with 2 stars and I love that song. | |
