Well, I'm a Gemini (today's my birthday, in fact) - but you have to look at a lot more than a person's birth sign. Rising sign has a huge impact...as do the positions of the major planets at the time of birth.

For instance, I am a Gemini with the Sun, Mercury and Venus in Gemini. That's a lot of air. Fortunately, my rising sign is Taurus and I have the moon in Cancer...or I'd be a total flake.

If I'm not mistaken, Prince has Scorpio rising. The Gemini/Scorpio mix explains a lot of his inner conflict - not to mention his alternating flighty and compulsive behavior.

I don't know about the rest of the planets, though. Didn't someone here do his chart awhile back?

I find astrology a load of crock. Our fate, and future doesn't lye within the stars. But in our selfs.

The zodiac system usually used by newspapers and snake-oil sellers is based on dates during the Ptolemaic era, and because of the precession of the equinoxes, they no longer match the current constellation positions.

I believe that Prince has gems in his eyes. And He has two of them...One is black and one is white....and that makes it easy for a Ram to guide him.

My guess is that these traits are fairly typical in gems. As for Prince, the all-night recording sessions and constant activity in his life 365d/a year seem to suggest they are for him too.

It's not always easy being a gemini. It's like having two people inside of you with totally different personalities and opinions. Getting along with yourself isn't an easy thing. Although maybe this is more a sign of Schizophrenia....?
