I Love "Blue Light" When I first heard the song, I had a vision of Prince looking out of the window of an airplane on a landing strip...And I always wondered if Prince wrote the lyrics in a plane...
It's beautiful.

You don't understand the reference to a "blue light," do you?

Yes I understand the reference in the song, rather than doing it in the dark...I was just curious if Prince had thought about the lyrics on a plane, looking at blue lights on the ground...Maybe Prince can shed a blue light on where he was when he wrote the song.

thanx pplrasta...The strange thing...is that when I think of a landing strip in the dark...all I can hear is that song playing...I love the comforting winter breeze the song has laced through it.

Makes me wanna lay out in my bathing suit by the fireplace.

i would love to see it performed live.
Can you imagine a Prince doing Bob Marley songs?
I can, especially Bufflo Soliders or Three Little Birds.

That song is awesome. I don't know why Prince didn't release that song as a single cause it would have been huge. I love the reggae vibe and the breezy feel of this song. I feel like I should be on a tropical island jammin to this song.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

No.

Am I really the only person here old enough to remember a blue light in the basement? doh!
