I love this song too. It would have been huge if he had released it like he should have. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Probably my fav of all time Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

Sorry, in my memory Acknowledge Me was on Come (an album i almost never listen too), but it isnt.
From the eighties albums i know the tracklistings almost out of my head, but when it comes to his material from the nineties and '00's, especially his albums that came after Symbol, i have problems to remember which songs were on which albums, and in which order those albums were released. Anything else having that same 'problem'? lol

This is a great song, but it could never have been released commercially as is. It would have to be edited down form its original length to a more commercially acceptable length, and would have lost a lot in the editing.
I like it the way it is. | |

O OK. Desperate? Whats that suppossed to mean? Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

wow, theres a lot of love for this song!
To me it's just his typical 90's shmaltz, it sounded so dated and corny when it was realeased, and even more now. To me a big chunk of his 90's imput is just plain dorky.
