[b][Edited 5/19/08 7:58am] Yeah I don't see the "young girl" connections I've been reading either. All these women are pushing 30. Enque is 28, Rashida with be 27 in July, Monica payne is at least 30 now, and Shelley Oto is around 27. What I want to know is, is any of this stuff actually going to see the light of day on DVD/CD. . [Edited 5/19/08 12:37pm] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I was there in person a few times, it was in a very nice nightclub setting, the performances were great, yes even with some hits and stuff of 3121 cd, the band did their thing, and the aftershows as you mentioned were slamming. I don't get the Vegas element compared to other Vegas shows. ...but oh well, we'll just agree to disagree.. back on topic. [Edited 5/19/08 10:36am]

Why are people dogging Prince for who he dates or doesn't date? Prince dates black women. Wesley Snipes, Lenny kravitz, Montell Williams, Tiger woods, dennis rodman, scottie pipen, randy jackson, sidney poiter, harry belafonte, james brown, lionel richie, ice-t, howard hewitt, dr. dre, just to name a few, either haven't dated a black women in a while, don't date black women at all or are not married to black women. Leave Prince alone!!!! Light skin, dark skin....it's still black!!!! So what if he dates younger women!!! I don't see you all dogging George Clooney, David Letterman, Larry King, Forrest Whitaker, Stevie Wonder....all who have women half their age or more. I think it's good that he's still having fun. You are only as old as you feel and look. Who wants to be a fifty year old on a walker? I hope I have as much vigor when I'm that age. Prince do yo thang!!!! Dust the haters off!!!! Dance on!!! Prince is almost 50 years old and can still steal your girl. I grew up with his music, we are close to the same age.I wish I could find a 50 year old man like him. He has to date younger women, my old ass could not keep up with him! That's funny. He has 23 years on me and he will still get it!!!

lol, a single 50 year old man liking young pretty women? There is no fault in that other than doing it so overtly to make a fool of yourself.
I think that the reason some of us get a little bent out of shape, is because as fans, we basically just want our man to do well and we get frustrated when we (some of us) think he's out of bounds, sure its his life and he can do as he well pleases. I think of us the audience at a basketball game shouting and rooting for our team. Sure the players can’t hear what we are saying exactly but they get the message when they score, or loose the ball. I was not disappointed when he decided not to use curse words, as I age I realize how stupid us older folk look when we do that, hopefully we learn as we grow, ...But I wouldn’t censor what I did as a youth, we all go through the same things and its a better example to show that you’ve grown enough to realize this and let the past be the past and if he's going to preach to lead by example. .

Wow. People are all assuming that Prince has to be having sex with each and every one of these women, and that they are all 19! So Prince likes to hang out with beautiful women? Are y'all new around here or somethin'? It hardly makes him a dirty old man, or like Hef. He's 50, not 90! 50 ain't what it used to be folks. To the comment that it makes him like MJ...uh, no. He isn't hanging around with anyone who hasn't gone through puberty for one thing.
Yeah, so....I have to say, the one time that I had the priveledge of witnessing DJ Rashida spin, she was quite good. She's a really talented DJ, and just because she's an attractive woman is no reason to hate on her. Geez, judging by some folks standards, y'all woulda hated on Sheila E back in the day! I realize he's thrown his support behind some lame acts, primarily on the basis that they were beautiful women, but some have actually turned out to have some talent (the aformentioned Ms. Escovedo comes to mind, as does a certain Jill Jones). Not every one of them is an Apollonia or Carmen Electra. I think judgement should be reserved until you actually HEAR what they are doing. Sounds to me like it is more of a group of female DJs banding together to do some interesting projects, but I'm not sure. Maybe they are actually a "musical" act, who knows? Why get all pissy before you've heard any of the music, or seen any of the projects they have in the works? Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

And some of these women do sing/or did at one time from what I have read but mainly they are DJ's or are involved in other business adventures such as modeling, oneline art/music magazines, and music production and have worked with more entertainers than just Prince. And all of them are well past the age of 19. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
