This is difficult, but here is my two: Purple Rain, Dirty Mind

I've been counting a bit and the question seems to be 'which do you prefer: purple rain or parade'.

I'll defend Parade here for a bit. Especially since summer is here (on the northern hemisphere anyway) and Parade is so breezy, feelgood, happy Prince. Step in your car, open the windows, play Parade. Open the windows and doors of your house, get into your garden or balcony and play Tracy's Parade. It works as an album, sure it might have songs you prefer, but it's a story, start to finish. It does sound kinda 80s, but it's mostly real, dynamic and warm. It's complete with Clare Fischers beautiful strings and has great accents by Atlanta Bliss and Eric Leeds. The synths and drum computers are less upfront and make sure it doesn't sound dated. It's still relevant today.
