My boyfriend kind of tolerates my Prince thing - he admits he's great live but would never listen to him by choice in the car or whatever. It would be better on long drives if he let me play back to back Prince!!

But... I was once with a guy and a couple of Prince songs were in the playlist during the course of, ahem, 'activities' and he said he was a big fan and owned 10 albums. I have to confess it made me even more into him, not sure why it should matter but it did! Maybe I hoped he had been paying attention to Prince lyrics and had learned a thing or two!!!

And last week I saw a guy in a club who really reminded me of Prince - physical looks but also something about his general demeanour - anyway if I was single I totally would have approached him!

My boyfriend is into his music,
we met at a Prince concert
so we have no problem there.
But he does get jealous because
of my love for Prince.

Why?
I love the both equally!

Wow my girlfriend told me the EXACT same thing after we saw P live at Coachella (twas my first time). SHe was blown away with his live set but doesn't care to listen to his stuff on her own.

I guess my only story would be that I met one of my realy good friends because he's a die-hard Prince fam. Other than that, I've got no sexy stories for y'all

I'm working on one but I don't think he likes me!

I did date several musicians, they all agreed on P's talent.
I'm a sucker for musicians really... they see to be more intense

my husband introduced me to prince back in 84, then my boyfriend - obviously!

I had thought he was okay but my boyfriend loved his stuff, we played it all the time in his car and over the years i ended up getting all the albums and being the major fan so to speak, we still have prince nights where all the kids dance like crazy. our family anthems are go crazy and 1999, the kids love it - so you could say we lived and loved to prince the two of us and our brood!!!

I couldnt imagine being with someone thats not a P fan, i wouldn't have much to talk about and it just annoys me when people dont like him!!!

When my hubby and I went on our 3rd date (in 1994) I had a Purple Rain cassette playing in my car with Diamonds and Pearls in the glove box. He told me he loved Prince music too so we cranked it up and listened together on our way to dinner. It's great to share the same music tastes. We saw our 1st Prince concert together in 1997 after my hubby camped out on the sidewalk all night to get us great tickets. Now we catch as many concerts together as we can. Speaking of concerts...we need Prince to come to the South!!!

I've had a couple of hook ups thanks to Prince, I'll admit to it.

My ex wasn't into Prince (or music in general) until she met me. I'm a musician so naturally I have a lot of CD's most of which she wasn;t into, but Prince, was really accessable to her for whatever reason. Purple Rain was her shit. Especailly The Beautiful Ones. And then I showed her When 2 R In Love and after that it was over. She was a fan after that. And then I when she saw I could play most of those songs on guitars and/or keys, it was icing on the cake baby...She liked me playing P songs more than she liked hearing MY songs

Pretty much every woman I have ever been with has either

a) Loved Prince and realized when meeting me that this was their best chance in life to be with someone similar..IE: Funky Musician..Style..Creative..ect..

b) Didnt know much about Prince but were attracted to me because Of my artistic ways/Vibe..but later after watching a zillion interviews and bootlegs realized that Jimi & Prince were the originators of the "Vibe" that they initially found attractive in me.

I met my bf at a Prince concert as well as some of my closest friends. Most of us don't care about Prince a lot anymore, but we are still friends and I am still together with my bf.
