Prince's Footwear at Coachella Ok, we've analysed 'Turn me Loose' and 'Creep' and everything else from Jay Leno and Coachella to death.....I think it's time to discuss something more important - Prince's new footwear!!! 
Now, I LOVE Prince in his heels of course, BUT I thought he looked really cool in those shoes / trainers / wedges - whatever they were! I mean it must be so much more comfortable too, those heels must kill his back sometimes!! As Prince's new management team here at the org. (courtesy of Mentalist  ) what do we all think?!

Yeah - I noticed them, but could only get a look at part of the shoe in one of the pics - I thought I was going mad!
I don't know what I think of them though... I'm not stopping. I haven't even taken my coat off

They looked a little like the shoes he wore towards the end of the o2 gigs. Without the flashing red lights! At least I don't think he still had the heel lights, did he? "My God it's full of Stars"

U might also want to have a look at his foot wear in the SHOE vid he's wearing platform sneakers....maybe it's because after wearing heels for so many years ure feet and ankles dont like U so much anymore...

Yep, height and comfort is good, still need heels to do 'sexy' though, when you're just sitting in a taxi, or on a bar stool, and the furthest you need to walk is going to and from the loo | |

High heeled sneakerz were available in 1977...I remember trying them on, but I was only eleven...I think a lot of the shoes are becomming more practical these days...I love having a lift in my shoes...but I rarely wear shoes that aren't comfortable...It's not worth it.
I wanted to start a thread called Prince's shoes last month but I didn't have any help posting pictures, cuz I can't do it...I think it would be cute...to just zoom in on his shoes. I have to mention this...there was a Tyra Banks show with these girls walking, or trying to walk in these monster heels, I think one of them twisted their ankle...High heels are pretty...and pretty dangerous if u can dance. Yeah, I'm not sure what other nights, but 6th September he came out for his last 'encore' with the flashing red lights in the heels of his trainers - it was cute and fun! He wasn't wearing them at the aftershow though.....
