Jailhouse Rock

I was surprised to see that a member had posted a cd that has Prince doing a cover of Elvis'z "Jailhouse Rock." I think that is a very interesting selection, seeing as that number 47 say's to number three, your'e the cutest jailbird I ever did see...does Prince by any chance change that line 2 67? Or does he keep it?

does anybody have a picture of that cd to post?

That CD would be a bootleg.
There was an officially released VHS video though.

cool...I saw the cover on another thread...I just wish I could hear that, just out of curiosity, of how Prince sings, "Jailhouse Rock."

I saw him perform it at the Park in 1995. Just like what happened at the Superbowl, Hall of Fame or last night at Coachella, you expect Prince to play Prince music and than you get blown away because you just witnessed Prince doing somebody else better than they can do it.Maybe because I was there, or shocked he would cover Elvis, especially back then, but Jailhouse Rock...Rocked!!

I bet it did...I'm sure Prince put the rock in Alcatraz...

On the Elvis theme, I'm sure that I've heard a boot of him singing Teddy Bear. He also did All Shook Up at the Indigo on 28th August. That was sweeeet.
