take me with u 12 inch...... hi i bought take me with u on 12 inch vinyl and i wondered if any1 could give me some info on it, eg how many were released cause it says its just a promotional copy and its not for re sale its double sided with take me with u on both sides same versions which i thought it was a bit strange, and all purple apart form the white writing and title looks quiet cool | |

It's not that rare but a nice item anyway:
Most promos have the same song on both sides as they were sent to radio stations to get them to play the song. Making love and music are the only things worth fighting for. | |

If I recall correctly, "Take Me With U" was only issued 2 radio in 12" format (which is probably what u picked up). As a single, it was only issued on 45. It is not uncommon to find the same song on both sides of a promotional 12". If you look at most of P's stuff (from the Warner years), they issued 12" singles with a single version and either the album or extended version.       **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-
