Dez stated that whatever is said about Princes"ability to play multiple instrument equaly good is not overblown ,he can play up to 27 ....he was an urban legend at 16...Pepe willie another friend interviewed said the same ...he describe being in rehearsals and how the teenage Prince would pick up anything and play it like he was born with it ...the song manic monday (given to the bangles) was written while on the backseat of a bus...
Theres a guy (forgot name) describe walking towards the studio and saw Prince talking to Micheal Jackson outside ..Jackson was very excited about a song they were supposed to do together...he over heard Prince telling MJ "dont bother the guy right now ,he's busy with a lot of stuf" then Prince(being competetive)asked MJ to challenge him in ping pong...it was a bit distracting for the people trying to work ..they were probably a bit noisy.
when Prince wrote "kiss" it was intended for a band Mazzarrati...butthen he had second thoughts and decided to use it ...one of his crew explained...when he told WB he wanted it as a single ,they objected ,they said it sounded like a demo,unfinished...Prince said hell no ...its complete and it WILL be realeased...the crewmember stated that Prince was huge & powerful then ,WB had to bow.
Same crew explained that Prince was always experimenting with unusual sounds ...he joked would play guitars under water if it comes to that ,to create something new...he would play with anything ,furniture,untensils to create somthing fresh.
Gail Chapman seem a bit uptight about stage outfits and antics (she is hot for her age by the way)she spoke about Prince sending his then girlfrined to her apartment with a strange outfit saying 'Prince say u wear this tonight or u are off the band"
He would also coach his team on how to conduct in public..."you should be a rockstar ,dress the part wherever you are ...no rollers & sweat pants ,sandals in a hotel lobby ..."
This is my absolute favorite piece of documentary ..90 mins of great info & intersting interviews...they mentioned loads of stuff about the Batman project,Lovesexy,sign o the times...its a feast for Prince fans ....

I bought my copy a few months ago in Camden market for £5.

Will this be shown in the U.S.?
