Vanity or Sheila or Appollonia or Family etc Hey, of all of the albums by Sheila, Vanity, Appolonia, the Family, which Prince wrote / produced / played, which one would be the best to get to build up my collection? I already have the two Madhouse albums. Thanks

Start off with the biggies like The Time, Vanity 6, Sheila E, etc, etc. And work your way down, until you get to Good Question and Da Krash.

Also, one or question, on the Eric Leeds album, would you classify it more as a Prince / Madhouse or an Eric Leeds album? Thanks

Thanks Prince wrote all the songs on the Jill Jones album (despite what the credits state). The Eric Leeds album was originally going to be released as the third Madhouse album (minus the opening track), but since it didn't really have the same 'feel' as the first two Madhouse albums Prince suggested that Eric should release under his own name. Other than the opening track 'Lines', all the other tracks were written or co-written by Prince.

Sorry, there was one other track on the Eric Leeds album not written or
co-written by Prince: Kenya (though Prince did play drums on it). Here's the credits for the Eric Leeds album... Cool, I see I have a bit of shopping to do to get some of these releases. Some of them seem a bit pricey on ebay but I'll keep my eyes open. Thanks.
