Really? I was wondering myself some days ago. But don't they need milk and eggs to make lots of things? Like pasta, bread, even to make mashed potatoes... or would they use soy milk for him. I would think for the energy he uses he must need a very good replacement. But he probably has a good cook serving him the best legumes/vegetables/nuts available. Without the fish, meat, milk, egg yellow, sleep etc I would have a serious anaemia.

being a vegan is hard and i think unhealthy. i am a vegan due to severe allergies, including wheat. i choose not to eat animals because i lived on a farm when i was little, plucking chickens that we killed and shooting wild game.i love animals and got tired apologizing to my dinner plate for their death.a freind of mine has free range chickens and when she brings me a few eggsi am as giddy as a child on their birthday. veganism sucks!

You have to make a life changing decision to be vegan or vegetarian why whould he alter a life long commitment that some of us made?(or had to make,i would hold grandma hostage for a pizza with everything sometimes!) It is a philosophy.

He's no vegan anymore. Don't you all remember all the reports from his 3121 house parties where they served seafood ? He doesn't leave his "brothers and sisters" in the sea no more, he serves them. And in his 3121 restaurant in Vegas there was meat on the menu. He would be the biggest hypocrite in the world if he personally would be against killing animals, but is making $$$ with selling it to other people.
In january he ate a "creamy" risotto im Miami. http://www.housequake.com...adid=98471 To make a risotto "creamy" you usually use dairy products like cheese and cream. [Edited 4/20/08 11:12am]

I still don't understand veganism or vegetarianism. If God didn't make cows, chickens, pigs, and fish for eating purposes, than what else would we do with them? They would over-populate the earth and the dead and rotting ones would cause disease to spead. Plus, it's no different from killing a head of lettuce or ripping a head of broccoli from it's roots to me. Vegetables are alive too, but once it's ripped from it's life source, steamed, and put on a plate, it's no longer alive...that broccoli died for them, just as much as that cow died for me. I don't agree with raising minks in small, overpopulated cages, but that's not going to make me stop eating meat...I just won't buy a fur coat. I won't buy a diamond ring either, because of blood diamonds...someone's child died for a shiny rock, which I find to be ridulous, but I'm sure there are vegans and vegetarians who will sport a diamond ring without even thinking about whether it's a duty-free diamond or not. I've met too many vegans who have more respect for animals than for people which is ignorant because humans are animals too.
You can ask any doctor and they will all tell you that neither of these two diets are healthy, because meat has riboflavin, something that the body needs, so if you don't eat meat, you probably have to take some good old man-made vitamins, which is just as bad if not worse than just eating the meat. I am an omnivore and at the top of the food chain, that is how God made me. I'm sure the lion doesn't feel bad when it eats the baby gazelle, so why should I? They don't call it the circle of life for nothing. Prince Rogers Nelson

estelle81 said: You can ask any doctor and they will all tell you that neither of these two diets are healthy, Not true. There can occur health problems when you' re a strict vegan, that's right. But vegetarians who eat dairy products don't have problems at all. I'm a vegetarian myself for 14 yers now, and I'm VERY healthy. Maybe you just know the wrong doctors ?

I think these doctors were talking about vegetarians who had been vegans but had recently converted to vegetarianism. But, most doctors i've met don't see the benefits in either diet...they just were more against veganism. Prince Rogers Nelson
