Have they ever performed together or made any music?

Both are Jehova's Witness's. Both have worked with Mike Philly. So is it not possible they could do something together in the future?

Yes, Jill Scott opened the Musicology concert for Prince. The audience was not very attentive to her, people we're getting up going for refreshments and stuff like it was intermission.

she was brought up a jw but never baptised. she is a self proclaimed prince fan

i was lucky enough to see her front row at a small club in my hometown the day before she pulled her small club tour to reschedule an arena tour, it was a really great gig as no-one had heard of her at the time so the club was just full of dj's and record store worker types

She's a wonderful singer from my home Philadelphia, at the show she said Prince called HER and asked her to open for him, when he was here in Philly so he obviously likes her style too!
