If Prince could collaborate with any artist both present or past who would it be and why?

I would love to see him collaborate with Mariah Carey , two beautiful singers (prince being more so) i think it would be a hit.

Anyone really...Prince could do a beautiful duet with a female singer, or Prince could jump up on stage with a heavy metal band and blend his guitar right in.
It doesn't matter to me if Prince performs with a group or does an acoustic session, but I pretty much love most music,(And music to me, includes instruments, not keyboard impressions of music.) so there wouldn't be a disappointment.

Michael Jackson, it'd be interesting to see what they would be able to come up with.

Sade would be another choice.

This may make some cringe, but I've always wondered what Prince and Mariah Carey's voices combined could do. I mean, she can go higher than the last note on the piano, and I've read somewhere that she once hit a note even higher than the one dolphins can produce! Given that Prince himself can go pretty high, I wonder how high these two could go...

On the instrumental side: I'll repeat my pitch of a few months ago here for a little piano duet with Condoleezza Rice. She is an accomplished pianist. In fact, she was planning a career in music – until other academic interests came along - and took classes as a child/teenager starting at three years old, with the goal of becoming a concert pianist. She still plays to this day, practicing often and playing with a chamber music group every other week. In April 2002 she accompanied cellist Yo-Yo Ma for Brahms’ Violin Sonata in D Minor at Constitution Hall for the National Medal of Arts Award.
