Again, I wrote a series of songs from the 1999 album on many threads on here. This also was one of them. The last thread I wrote involved me describing what the video should have been like to this song, since there wasn't one. Should have definately been released as a single and shame on WB for not making that happen! Love Lisa's cries for help and somebody call the police! And everytime I listen to it, I have to "shake my body like I just don't care." LOL.

My favorite song off 1999, in fact it's still one of my favorite Prince tracks ever.
That groove gets me every time, I'd rather listen to a 21 minute version of this than 'America' anyday. This track so should've been a single in it's own right. With a single edit, video and extended version on the 12" (and maybe something like 'Purple Music' on the b-side). ahhh, if only. | |

One of my favorite jams on 1999...actually one of my favorite Prince jams ever! I remember reading some review and they called this song "filler" and it made me so angry. My favorite songs on 1999 are all the extended jams, I get a little sick of Little Red Corvette and Delirious, but I never get tired of DMSR, Let's Pretend, Automatic and Lady Cab Driver. I think it's his attitude in all of these songs that makes me love it. | |

Timeless groove. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |
